The Science curriculum in HES is based on the guidelines given by NCF 2005 and recommendations of NCERT. HES keep on incorporating the recent researches and developments in the field of science in curriculum to make it more relevant for students.

HES consider science as a collected body of knowledge for explaining the natural world which is attained by systematic and orderly way of thinking. Science is not only content but also the process by which the content is built.

There are a number of procedural and conceptual activities that are frequently practiced during a scientific investigation.

All these steps of the Scientific Inquiry helps students in achieving ultimate Aim of Science which is to become Scientifically Literate, develop scientific attitude and become proficient problem solver.
